SARL Riviera 1955 (hereinafter "we", "us", or "our"), operating the website www.riviera1955.com (the "Site"), is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its users.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have. It applies to all visitors and users of the Site, in particular those submitting a custom cake enquiry or a franchise application.

This Policy has been prepared in accordance with Monegasque Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 on the protection of personal data and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) where applicable.

3. DATA WE COLLECT
We only collect data that is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
3.1. Custom cake enquiry form
When you submit a custom cake enquiry, we collect:
  • First name and last name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Country and city
  • Event date and details about the cake (number of guests, design preferences, dietary requirements, allergies)
  • Any other information you provide voluntarily in the message field
3.2. Franchise application form
When you submit a franchise application, we collect:
  • First name and last name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Country and target city for the franchise
  • Professional background and relevant experience
  • Indicative investment capacity
  • Any additional information you provide in the message field
3.3. Technical data collected automatically
When you browse the Site, we automatically collect:
  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device information and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on the Site, referral source
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 9 below)

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Most of your personal data is stored on servers located within the European Economic Area:
  • Website hosting and email — Hostinger’s infrastructure is operated from Lithuania, an EU Member State.
  • Tilda website builder — although Tilda Platform Cloud Services Co. LLC is registered in the United Arab Emirates, the personal data processed through the platform is physically stored in data centres operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany and Finland) and GCore (Luxembourg), all within the EEA. The processing is governed by Tilda’s Data Processing Agreement, which is publicly available at tilda.cc/dpa and incorporates GDPR requirements.
One service we use involves a transfer of data outside the EEA:
  • Google LLC (United States) — we store enquiry and application data in Google Workspace / Google Sheets. This transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is a certified participant. Google also offers Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission as an additional safeguard.

8. YOUR RIGHTS
Under Monegasque Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 and GDPR where applicable, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
  • Right of access — obtain confirmation of whether we hold data about you and a copy of that data.
  • Right of rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to restriction — ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances.
  • Right to portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or have it transmitted to another controller.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint — with the Commission de Contrôle des Informations Nominatives (CCIN, www.ccin.mc) in Monaco, or with the data protection authority in your country of residence (e.g. CNIL in France).

10. SECURITY
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, secure backups, and regular reviews. While no system is fully secure, we work to safeguard your data and will notify affected users and authorities of any breach where required by law.



11. CHILDREN
The Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us so we can delete it.
